Documents to keep ready
- Registration Certificate (RC) - copy for the transporter.
- Valid vehicle insurance policy.
- Your ID proof and address of the receiver.
- PUC certificate, if applicable.
- If the car is financed, keep the loan details handy in case they are asked for.
Preparing your car
- Wash the car so existing scratches and dents are easy to record.

Open car carriers move several cars together and are commonly used for long distances. Closed carriers or containers give extra protection from dust and weather and are preferred for premium cars. Ask your mover which option suits your car and route.
At delivery
- Inspect the car in daylight before signing.
- Compare with your photos and the condition report.
- Check the odometer reading.
- Report any issue immediately and note it on the delivery receipt.
